Serving & Supporting
Children & Their Families in Austin:
Oak Springs Carnival
APRIL 26TH

Oak Springs Elementary. It's a school with proud families, resourceful students, and a hard working faculty. It's also the poorest school in AISD. 98% of the student body is on the free lunch program. Education is a hunger issue, because hunger is an education issue.

Since 2002, FBC Austin has been a proud partner with Oak Springs to bring care, support, and love to it's teachers, students, and families. One very important way FBC supports Oak Springs is by helping them orchestrate and operate a successful carnival. The carnival is the only fundraiser for the year that allows the school extra funds to purchase whatever the teachers need for their students.

There are many ways to help. You can sign up online here, or call or email Sarah Zeringue in FBC's offices: 512.476.2625, szeringue@fbcaustin.org.

If you have specific questions about who can serve, how, and what should be donated; contact Dorothy Strickland, FBC's Children Minister, 512.465.2625, dstrickland@fbcaustin.org.
