CONNECT!

Connect and serve with your church!
The First Baptist Church of Austin has a huge heart for mission. We've shown this year in and year out. Sometimes the challenge is communicating the who, what, when, and where of the many mission and service endeavors of our congregation. As a result of this challenge, the Missions and Ministry Committee would like to announce "First Serve." Our hopes are to create better communication and connection for the people of FBC (and their friends) to the many service and mission projects.

Have you ever wanted to serve randomly with a Mobile Loaves and Fishes truck delivering food to the homeless? Or help serve our homeless neighbors by transforming FBC's upstairs into an apartment? First Serve will help you connect to these opportunities and more.

Sign up NOW to receive email updates on the mission and service opportunities at FBC!

You MUST subscribe to the First Serve email to receive future emails about FBC Austin's mission and service information.

The initial emphasis will focus on world hunger and what you can do to end it. Then First Serve will be a way for you to stay connected with volunteer service opportunities, mission programs, and partner information.

WORLD HUNGER OFFERING

For the month of April, to prepare for theMay 7th World Hunger Emphasis, the missions committee will be emphasizing world hunger and what you can do about it.

Although hunger is an everyday issue for many, First Serve will be delivered every three days with short articles about world hunger, what FBC Austin and our partners are doing about it, and small ways you can engage.

In May, FBC will collect and announce how much we have raised for the World Hunger Offering!

Let's hunger for justice together. Sign up now to be a part of this initiative!
