On April 1st, Sofia Casini of Texas Refugee Services came and spoke at Midweek Moorings about the lives refugees in Austin. One focus of her talk was how churches in the area are getting on board and partnering with her nonprofit to provide for some of the needs of refugees.
FBC is putting together people who would like to help in different facilities. This is a great opportunity to get involved in the lives of global missions in our own backyard.
