Every year thousands and thousands of young adults from all over the world journey to an ecumenical monastery in the countryside of the south of France to pray with monks and participate in a spirituality which is contemplative and rooted in silence and the Christian monastic tradition.

These young people say they make the international pilgrimage to the world-renowned Taizė Community to make friends, search for answers, and pray for peace. The gatherings, which are known for their beautiful musical prayers, are led three times a day, seven days a week, throughout the year by Taizė Brothers who represent all continents and major denominations.

Since not everyone can travel to France for this life-changing experience, the Taizė Brothers have taken their worship abroad and are coming to Austin March 21-23 to lead an authentic gathering right here at FBC.
