Are you interested in ending hunger in Austin? On Sunday, October 6th at 9:45 am, Texas Hunger Initiative (THI) of Baylor University's School of Social Work will lead that very discussion at First Baptist Church of Austin, at 901 Trinity in downtown Austin. A representative of THI will provide best resources, knowledge, and direction for how we can get involved in ending hunger in our community.

A partner with the Christian Life Commission, the organization seeks to develop and implement strategies to end hunger through policy, education, community organizing, and community development. THI convenes federal, state, and local government stakeholders with non-profits, faith communities, and business leaders to create an efficient system of accountability that increases food security in Texas.

Light Breakfast will be provided at 9:15am in the Parlor; Informational Session to begin at 9:45am.
