LIVESTRONG MARATHON MAY AFFECT YOUR COMMUTE TO CHURCH SUNDAY,
FEBRUARY 17
The LIVESTRONG
Austin Marathon and Half Marathon® will take place on Sunday, February 17th
starting at 7am on Congress Ave at 16th Street and will end at 3pm on Congress
Ave. at 10th Street. An estimated 20,000 runners will take part in the 26.2 and
13.1 mile races.
Road closures will begin on Friday evening near the finish and start lines. Most race day road closures will begin at 6am. Roads will reopen on a rolling schedule following the last runner. Please plan ahead and be aware of the closures in your area.. See the link below for more information on road closures.
