On Sunday, April 25th, under the direction of Louise K Avant , the Sanctuary Choir, Doxology (a liturgical dance ensemble), and tenor soloist, Juan del Bosco, will present Misa Criolla, written in 1964 by legendary Argentine composer and pianist Ariel Ramirez. They will be joined by Chaski, a Latin American folk music ensemble based in Austin. Chaski will open the evening program with selections that recollects Chaski’s 25 year history. A light reception follows the performance to celebrate their 25th anniversary and this innovative work.
