First Class will begin Sunday, March 1, 2009 and run for the 5 Sundays in March.

What is First Class? An introduction to First Baptist Church.

Who should attend? Anyone, especially if you are...

  •  A new member of our congregation
  •  Someone who is thinking about joining our church
  •  An existing member of our congregation who would like to know more about FBC
  • Someone that wonders what we mean when we say we're a different kind of baptist

This is an excellent opportunity to meet the church staff, to hear and ask questions about the various ministries of our church and learn ways you can use your gifts at First Baptist. You will also meet other church members, as well as make new friends with First Class members.

We will cover many topics, including our mission statement and what we mean by a “cathedral church”

Have you ever wondered what the following terms mean? IHN, VBS, WMU, Juarez, Action Teams, Cooking Teams, Outbound, Prime Time, Beresheth, Taize, or Still Waters? What part do they play in the life of FBC and more importantly, how can you get involved?

Come to First Class and learn the answers to these questions and more. First Class will meet in the Parlor from 9:30am to 10:50am each Sunday in March.

If you have any questions, please contact the church office at (512) 476-2625 or info@fbcaustin.org .

This is a wonderful way to begin your journey at First Baptist Church. Hope to see you on March 1st!
